Hey fellow mama, I’m so glad you’re here. Wow, my first blog post… I’m kinda nervous 😂

I’m Amber, a full-time wife and mother, part-time hairstylist, and a woman (I can’t believe I’m not 16 anymore) who’s always dreamed of slowing down, being home more, homesteading, and raising my kiddos with intention, love, and a touch of holistic flair (kinda, lol).

I decided to start my blog because what’s adding ONE more thing to my plate… lol jk BUT REALLY. I started this because I couldn’t find a space that REALLY spoke to moms like myself. You know, the ones balancing work with motherhood but still crave that homemaker life. The ones who love their babies fiercely, want to do things more naturally and are figuring it out as they go along.

I’m 24 years old and met my husband when I was just 16 years old. However, it’s one of those stories where if you told 16 year old me that I was going to marry this man, I would have told you that you are crazy. God always has the ultimate plan though, right? We did not start dating until I was 18 and quickly got married at 20. We welcomed our first baby into the world in early 2024 and are expecting another one this fall of 2025!

My First Birth Changed Everything

After I delivered my first, something definitely shifted in me. Once that baby comes earth side, you immediately lock in. It wasn’t even just about the birth itself, but just the entire experience. From preparing mentally and physically, learning to trust my instincts and body and to REALLY lean into God and trusting HIS plan. Since then, I’ve just become obsessed with all of motherhood. From nontoxic baby items, fun activities for kiddos, new (easy, lol) toddler recipes, postpartum healing, herbal healing, you name it… It’s definitely become my entire personality. I’m also having to ask my more experienced clients advice on how to handle these new toddler tantrums because SHEW… they become a different monster once they hit 12/13 months. So spoiler, you’re not the only one wondering if you’re doing this whole thing right – WE ARE ALL WONDERING lol. Motherhood is truly Kingdom work – my calling if you will.

Listen, I do not have it all figured out. I do not live an aesthetic, pinterest worthy life. I’m just like you, trying to do the best with what I’ve got. I really want this blog to feel like a breath of fresh air.
